CIPHI is hosting a professional development educational conference, providing a professional forum for individuals involved with Environmental Public Health programs and for organizations. We will gather in the spirit of continuous self-improvement and to share program experiences, develop solutions to common challenges, and create innovative planning and training methodologies. This year, the conference theme is Honouring Traditions, Inspiring Innovation, and focuses on both current and emerging environmental public health issues and exploring innovative ways to safeguard public health.

Let the conference fun begin with a welcome reception from 6:00 – 9:00 pm on November 5, 2017 in the exhibitor hall and room Minoru D. Take the opportunity to meet and greet your colleagues from near and far. Visit exhibitor booths at your leisure and try your luck at winning a special prize. Check out silent auction items and plot your strategy to win your bid. Light snacks will be provided and refreshments are available at the cash bar.
You will be entertained in Minoru D by the talented singer and songwriter, Greg Neufeld. Greg was a top ten finalist in Canadian idol season 5. Prior to being on Canadian Idol, Greg’s band di Marco opened for Matthew Good and Hedley . You don’t want to miss Greg or any of the other fun to be had!

The After Party

Let’s party like the Irish at this fun filled evening event! From 5:30pm until late, we’ll be enjoying all that Ceili’s Irish bar (http://www.ceilis.com/home) has to offer! The pub is conveniently located within walking distance of the conference venue. Start your evening with a complimentary drink on us, and then enjoy a delicious buffet dinner comprised of some traditional Irish fare.
After dinner, all attendees can participate in an interactive pub trivia game. As we break into teams, let’s see who’s got the skills to master the game. Great prizes to be won!!
Afterwards, to top off an already amazing night, the dance floor will open, and you can perform your best Irish jig and dance the night away.

Hosted in the Minoru Ballroom and sponsored by FOODSAFE, this will be an event not to miss. Enjoy cocktails at 6pm followed by a gala meal at 7pm. Entertainment will be provided by Wes Barker (https://www.wesbarker.ca/), whose show features crowd interaction through magic, comedy and stunts. His performances have taken him all over the world and he has also been featured on Penn & Teller: Fool Us and America’s Got Talent. Be prepared to be amazed and amused!
