Biography: Barb holds a Master’s degree from the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. Her research on integrated enteric disease surveillance, builds on 30-plus years of experience in public health. She is a graduate of the University of Guelph, and achieved certification in Public Health Inspection (Canada) from Ryerson University.
Barb joined the Public Health Agency of Canada’s FoodNet Canada team in January 2004, where she leads the public health component. Ms. Marshall is committed to evidence-informed policy that enhances food and water safety and public health activities in Canada.
