Dr. Sylvia Struck

Position: Manager, Drinking Water Safety Program, First Nations Health Authority

Biography: Dr. Sylvia Struck manages the Drinking Water Safety Program at the First Nations Health Authority with programmatic responsibly for supporting access to safe and reliable water supplies and building capacity for First Nations communities in British Columbia. She is passionate about water issues and has spent much of her career working on environmental and public health issues in Canada, US, Uganda, Indonesia and Europe. She also lectures on global environmental health and climate change at UBC as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Population and Public Health.
