Gethsemane Luttrell

Position: Regional Manager, Environmental Public Health Services, First Nations Health Authority (FNHA), Vancouver Island

Biography: Born and raised on Quadra Island, BC, Gethsemane has a strong connection with nature and community. Her passion for science, environment and helping people has guided her down the path to Environmental Public Health. Gethsemane completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from the University of Victoria; and, completed her Bachelor of Technology in Environmental Health at the British Columbia Institute of Technology.

Gethsemane leads a team of Environmental Health Officers and support staff, delivering environmental health services to a large number of First Nations communities on Vancouver Island, including remote locations only accessible by boat or float plane.
