Position: Drinking Water Protection Specialist, Drinking Water Officer, Vancouver Coastal Health
Biography: Len works as a Drinking Water Protection Specialist and appointed Drinking Water Officer with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority (VCH) in Squamish BC. He has a Diploma of Technology from BCIT and recently participated as instructor for the water supply course. Len volunteers with the BCWWA, currently past chair of the Drinking Water Committee and received the Stanley Copp award (2014). Len also teaches various courses for BCWWA including water treatment to help students qualify for EOCP operator certification. VCH is largely an urban Health Authority with the majority of the population serviced by the Greater Vancouver Water District. Beyond the lower mainland VCH regulates approximately 350 water systems in rural settings.
