Position: Senior Environmental Health Officer, Vancouver Coastal Health
Biography: Nader Massoud received his Bachelor degree in Cell and Developmental Biology from UBC, and took additional graduate courses in Food Science. He received his Environmental Health Diploma from BCIT and started his career with the Burnaby Health Department as a field inspector. His career took him to Vancouver Coastal Health, where until recently, he worked on the North Shore, dealing with a wide variety of issues ranging from rodent control to communicable disease. He has been part of the Regional water safety committee, reviewed point of entry and point of use water treatment systems, and also dealt with remote private and municipal water systems. Nader is currently in Vancouver as a Senior Environmental Health Officer as the lead contact for FOODSAFE and food safety.
