Position: Regulation & Enforcement Division Manager, Metro Vancouver
Biography: Ray Robb is Metro Vancouver’s Environmental Regulation and Enforcement Division Manager. For 12 years at Metro and 15 years at the province, he issued and enforced environmental permits, including air permits for odorous emissions from pulp mills, rendering plants and composting operations. Ray has a Masters in Environmental Engineering, a Bachelors in Chemical Engineering from UBC and a Diploma of Technology in Chemistry from BCIT.
Ray recently issued a permit to a composting operation in Richmond that was appealed by over 20 individuals, the City and the permittee.
